James (Jamie) McIntyre, President/CEO

Jamie was vice-president, environmental leadership with Cameco Corporation. He was responsible for positioning the company as a global leader in environmental performance. Prior to his appointment as vice-president, Jamie served as Cameco’s director, sustainable development, during which time he was responsible for the company’s sustainable development, community and aboriginal relations programs. Prior to that, he held senior management positions in investor and corporate relations, human resources and corporate training. His tenure with Cameco began in 1991.

He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Manitoba and a Masters degree from the University of Oregon.
